Sandy Island Reef
Anguilla · Anguilla
A small sand cay north of Road Bay fringed by a vibrant horseshoe reef that plunges from 3 metres to a hard-coral plateau at 20 metres. Enormous schools of blue tang and French grunts sweep along the walls while nurse sharks rest on sandy channels between coral heads. Visibility regularly exceeds 30 metres and the calm, sheltered position makes this an ideal site for all experience levels.
