Nelivaru Haa
Baa Atoll · Maldives
Nelivaru Haa is a dramatic channel cut through the atoll rim, channelling nutrient-rich ocean water across a tapestry of hard corals and overhanging sea fans. The shallower portions host dense schools of sweetlips and batfish while the deeper channel floor regularly produces sightings of leopard sharks resting on sandy patches. It is an ideal site for intermediate divers seeking variety across a single dive.
