Inside Out
Cayman Brac · Cayman Islands
Inside Out is a unique dive on the north wall of Cayman Brac where a large coral archway creates a swim-through from the reef flat into open wall. The tunnel is wide enough for comfortable passage and lit with ambient light from both ends, making it accessible without torch diving skills. The arch itself is heavily colonized with encrusting sponges in reds and purples, and green moray eels occupy the crevices at its base. Exiting onto the wall brings divers face to face with the open Atlantic blue, and nurse sharks are almost always found resting in the sand channels on the reef flat at the tunnel entrance.
