Five Fingers Reef
Coral Bay · Australia
Five elongated coral fingers stretch from a sandy flat, each rising 4 to 6 metres from the seabed. The channels between them funnel tidal flow and concentrate fish life — schools of snapper pack the gaps and turtles rest on the sand at the base. Table corals dominate the tops while sea fans fill the walls. A straightforward dive at moderate depth that rewards slow exploration.
