
Göcek Island Reef

A gently sloping reef skirting the wooded shores of Göcek Island, its rocky ledges honeycombed with crevices where dusky grouper patrol and pot-bellied seahorses cling to gorgonian fans. Scorpionfish rest motionless on encrusted boulders while octopus hunt across the sandy rubble between pinnacles. Calm, gin-clear water makes this one of the finest all-round dives on the Turquoise Coast, equally rewarding for photographers and wildlife seekers.
