Big Bay (Da Wan)
Kenting National Park · Taiwan
Da Wan is Kenting's most accessible reef dive and the standard introduction for first-time visitors, with a gently sloping coral garden that descends from knee-deep shallows to 18 meters of open sand. Green sea turtles rest on the coral heads throughout the day and are encountered on nearly every dive, drawing snorkelers and new divers alike. The protected bay setting keeps currents gentle and surface chop minimal, providing reliable conditions across most of the year.
