Aquarium Bay
Marmaris · Turkey
Aquarium Bay sits in a sheltered inlet near Marmaris where the water achieves a clarity that rivals the world's best dive destinations, its transparency the product of clean Aegean inflows and the filtering action of extensive posidonia meadows. Grouper hold their positions in the rocky overhangs while clouds of damselfish, bream, and wrasse fill the water column above the reef. The site is exceptional for beginners and experienced divers alike, offering shallow reef gardens and deeper sponge-encrusted walls in the same dive.
