Coral Garden
Nosy Be · Madagascar
A sprawling shallow reef plateau north of Nosy Be renowned for its exceptional hard coral diversity — table corals the size of dining tables shade a labyrinth of staghorn thickets, brain corals, and sea fans that rival any reef in the Indian Ocean. This site receives less visitor pressure than Nosy Tanikely and the result is a wilder, more intimate experience where whale sharks glide through in the season and reef whitetip sharks rest in sandy channels between coral bommies. The gentle slope from 5 to 25 metres suits all certification levels while rewarding experienced divers who explore the outer wall.
