Secca del Cristo
Portofino · Italy
A submerged rocky pinnacle draped in dense posidonia seagrass meadows, Secca del Cristo is one of Portofino's most biodiverse dives. Conger eels peer from crevices between sea fans and sponge-encrusted boulders while schools of bream and salema drift lazily overhead. The site sits within the marine reserve's heart, so fish densities here rival anywhere in the western Mediterranean.
