Marine Park HQ Reef
Redang Island · Malaysia
The house reef directly in front of Redang's Marine Park headquarters is one of Malaysia's most reliably spectacular dives, with resident green turtles feeding on the shallow coral gardens and massive schools of bumphead parrotfish arriving predictably each morning to excavate the larger coral heads. The reef slopes gently from the beach through a series of coral terraces rich in anemonefish, butterflyfish, and reef sharks. Its accessibility and exceptional fish density make it the benchmark dive against which all Redang sites are measured.
