Schools of juvenile orbicular batfish drift in the dappled light at the cave entrance, their disc-shaped silver bodies catching the shafts of light filtering through the opening. Adults patrol the deeper sections of the chamber, sometimes following divers with apparent curiosity. The cave's sheltered environment makes it a nursery habitat for several reef fish species.
