Salvador da Bahia · Brazil
An offshore pinnacle system rising from 30 m to within 8 m of the surface at the entrance to Todos os Santos Bay. Strong seasonal upwellings bring whale sharks between July and November. The walls are draped in encrusting sponges and black coral with large schools of Atlantic spadefish and horse-eye jacks circling the summit.
