An outer reef barrier running parallel to the Itapuã coast, exposed enough to attract pelagic species yet accessible for recreational divers. Reef sharks patrol the deeper seaward edge while the lagoon-side slopes hold dense coral gardens with Caribbean-style butterfly fish, angelfish, and abundant sergeant majors.
