Kastela Wall

Ternate · Indonesia

A spectacular vertical reef wall on Ternate's southwest side that drops from 5 metres to beyond 60 metres, carpeted in sea fans, black coral trees, and dense soft coral gardens. The wall faces the open Molucca Sea and attracts pelagic visitors including schooling jacks, napoleon wrasse, and passing whitetip reef sharks. One of Ternate's signature wide-angle dives.
