Labas Island
Tioman Island · Malaysia
Labas Island offers some of Tioman's most spectacular soft coral and sea fan scenery, with cascading gorgonian fans up to two metres across draped across walls that plunge into the blue. Giant moray eels thread through the coral matrix while lionfish hover motionless in the fan fronds, ambushing passing prey. This is a site for slow, observational diving — every square metre of substrate holds something worth stopping for.
