Tufi Fjord Wall
Tufi · Papua New Guinea
The drowned river valley walls of Tufi's fjords plunge vertically from the surface to depths beyond 50 metres, draped in a near-unbroken blanket of soft corals, sea fans, and wire corals. The sheltered fjord water is remarkably clear and calm year-round, making this the ideal site for both novice and experienced divers. Pygmy seahorses, Spanish dancer nudibranchs, and mandarin fish all reside within the wall's crevices.
