A classic outer reef platform where hard corals grow to exceptional size in Tonga's nutrient-rich water. Whitetip reef sharks cruise the sandy channels between coral heads, sea turtles graze on the reef flat, and the site sees enough current to bring in occasional grey reef sharks from the deeper water beyond the drop-off.
