Salvador da Bahia

Brazil · South America

Salvador da Bahia sits on the northeastern Brazilian coast where warm tropical waters meet the South Atlantic. Reef fish diversity is exceptional year-round, and between July and November whale sharks patrol the outer reefs near the Todos os Santos Bay mouth. Seahorses, frogfish, and nudibranchs reward patient macro divers among the rubble and sea grass beds.
